Happy New Year Everybody!!!!
I hope everyone is as excited as I am about the new year; it’s a time of great opportunity! With enthusiasm high so many people are making resolutions and setting goals to accomplish throughout this year. If you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to do the same. Then I also encourage you to take immediate action towards reaching those goals. Have you ever wondered why so often each year so many people set such great and attainable goals yet fail to follow through with them. The answer boils down to one simple thing…and that’s habit. The habits we develop today, shape us into the person we become. So take your enthusiasm for the new year and deposit it into action, because any action repeated over and over becomes habit forming. Enthusiasm is a great tool to get you started, but once it runs out it’s the habits you’ve formed that will keep you going. Warren Buffett has said, “the chains of habit are too light to be felt until they’re too heavy to be broken.” With that in mind, what are you going to do right now, today, to start forming the habits you need to make your dreams for tomorrow become a reality? I suggest you start with a list of goals.
